Joon is excited to welcome James Beard Award-winning Chef Nancy Silverton for a one-night collaboration dinner on Monday, December 1. Chef Nancy will work alongside MICHELIN-starred Chef Christopher Morgan for a four course tasting menu experience, blending the flavors of Joon’s Persian cuisine with Chef Nancy’s Italian influence. Menu highlights include a swordfish kabob and Grilled Yellowtail Spiedini, braised lamb neck stew, roasted butternut squash with kashk and dried mint, and special Italian desserts. The dinner will take place at the restaurant, with open seatings starting at 6 PM. Tickets can be purchased through OpenTable here.

Taquería Xochi is excited to participate in National Landing’s annual winter festival, “The Lodge,” on December 6th. The event will feature local vendors, live music, festive activities, and family-friendly fun — including the Peppermint Mocha Latte Competition, Selfies with Santa, a Dog Sweater Contest, Lodge After Dark, and more. Guests can expect a decorated storefront, plus specials including Xochi’s Mexican Hot Chocolate and Café de Olla.

Join Lutèce on Sunday, 12/7 as they host Jon Bonné for a night of wine and delicious neo-bistro bites! Bonné is the author of The New French Wine, released in March 2023 to widespread critical praise — “an opinionated, thought-provoking work that uses wine as a vehicle for cultural history,” according to The New York Times. The New French Wine honors the ever evolving wine culture of France. Bonné’s work in wine and food journalism has won numerous accolades, including three Roederer Awards — the most ever won by an American — an IACP Award, and recognition by the James Beard Foundation nearly a dozen times. During this dinner event, guests can opt for a six course tasting w/ an optional pairing from Jon for $132 per guest + tax.

Charity Dinner | Dec 9 | Jônt: United Sommeliers Foundation Hosts Exclusive Charity Dinner!
The United Sommeliers Foundation and star sommelier Erik Segelbaum are proud to present an intimate benefit dinner at Jônt in Washington, D.C. on December 9th, celebrating exceptional culinary artistry paired with rare and extraordinary wines. Guests will enjoy a curated menu alongside selections from the Maze Row Wine Merchant and Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne portfolios. Proceeds from the dinner support the Foundation’s mission of providing critical aid to wine professionals facing personal or professional crises. To date, since their founding in 2020 from the COVID-19 pandemic, the Foundation has awarded over $1.8 million in grants to sommeliers and wine professionals nationwide.
