What: Join us to sip, shop, and celebrate at Streetsense! On Thursday November 30, we’re hosting our third annual Streetmarket, a curated holiday pop-up. The event is open to the public, and will feature a mix of local retailers including Bailiwick Clothing Company, Undeniable Boutique, Cherry Blossom Creative, Take Care Shop, KUZEH Pottery, Whiskey Ginger, Steadfast Supply, Bazaar Spices, Mallory Shelter Jewelry, Urban Jungle, Capital Craft Co., Typecase Industries, and more! The event will also feature complimentary small bites and beverages and an interactive photo booth. We hope to see you there!

Christkindlmarkt
Who: Heurich House Museum
What: Join us the first weekend in December to shop locally made goods at our 5th annual outdoor holiday market and tour the seasonally decorated historic home of the Heurich family! The museum honors the Heurich family’s German heritage by recreating a traditional German public Christmas market in its garden. This holiday shopping event, Dupont Circle’s only holiday market, features goods from local artisans, including jewelers, ceramicists, bakers, makers of housewares and more. Tour the historic home of DC’s most successful brewmaster Christian Heurich to view seasonal decorations and enjoy the mansion’s intact interiors. On Friday, December 1st from 4-9pm the museum will feature products Made in DC. The market will also be open on Saturday, December 2nd from 11am-5pm and Sunday, December 3rd from 11am-5pm featuring products made all over the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. On Saturday and Sunday, be one of 75 attendees at our VIP Shopping Hour from 10 am to 11 am. Tickets will go fast! VIPs will have exclusive access to talk to the makers themselves and first pick of items all while avoiding the lines and crowds! The museum will open at 11 am, so VIPs can be first to see the seasonally decorated home. New this year is the option to purchase a full weekend pass, allowing entry to the market Friday through Sunday. Tickets are available online until 5pm on November 30 and then will be sold at the door only. Admission fee includes all-day admission to the market and one entry to the historic Heurich home. Food and refreshments (alcoholic and non-) will be available for purchase.
Admission is $10 for adults, $2 for children (2-12) and $15 for the VIP Shopping Hour. Full weekend passes are $20 for adults, $4 for children (2-12), and $30 for access to the VIP Shopping Hour on Saturday and Sunday.

Holiday Pop-Up Shop Brief Assembly

What: In the continuation of bringing national and local retailers to the district, Union Market will host the first installation of new pop-up concept shop Brief Assembly this holiday season. Brief Assembly is a fully operational storefront space where selected makers, designers and independent brands from across the U.S. will have their goods sold in a unique and curated shopping experience. The store will run from Saturday, November 25 through Saturday, December 23 in a historic warehouse space. Brief Assembly was created by Carolyn Misterek of MATINE and Mallory Shelter of Mallory Shelter Jewelry, both small business owners in the District. The duo dreamed up the concept to help fellow creative brands gain exposure and reach a new customer base in the D.C. area, while also designing a new shopping experience for local residents. Opening on Small Business Saturday, savvy shoppers will have the chance to peruse an array of women’s apparel, jewelry, apothecary and beauty items, leather goods and accessories, and homewares perfect for gifting. More than 20 local and national brands, including Emerson Fry, Our Heiday, WKNDLA, Par en Par and Evermore Paper Co will be available to shop at the pop-up.
