**NEW** Pastiamo Osteria: Neighborhood Osteria opening in Woodley Park this November: Opening this November at 2614 Connecticut Avenue, NW, Pastiamo Osteria will bring the warmth of a traditional Italian osteria to Woodley Park. The 2,614-square-foot restaurant will pair handmade pasta and wood-fired pizza with seasonal dishes, classic cocktails, and a curated wine selection with indoor-outdoor seating available. Designed for everything from casual weeknight meals with shared bottles of wine to leisurely weekend brunches, Pastiamo will offer a convivial approach to traditional Italian dining.
Bajo by Hambre Hospitality: Spanish-Japanese restaurant & listening bar coming to Blagden Alley this November: Bajo, a new Spanish-Japanese restaurant and listening bar from husband-and-wife duo Chef Max Rivera and Sarah Montell of Hambre Hospitality, is slated to open in Shaw’s Blagden Alley this Fall. Bajo’s menu will draw inspiration from the intersection of Iberian and Japanese culinary traditions and will feature tapas, yakitori, and crudos, along with a Spanish and Catalan wine program, sake list, and vinyl listening program with live DJs. Rivera’s culinary background spans six countries and Michelin-starred kitchens, including roles as the opening Executive Chef at Cana and most recently at José Andrés’ minibar.

Snallygaster takes place October 10th with unlimited tastes of 450+ beers for $75; get tickets here. On Monday, October 12th, ChurchKey wraps the week with a Trillium tap takeover and limited bottle and can release, with online orders opening at 10:00 AM.
**NEW** Immigrant Food: Lunch & dinner menus Arlington Restaurant Week (MON 10/12 – MON 10/19): In partnership with the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Immigrant Food is participating in Arlington Restaurant Week for both lunch and dinner. For lunch, the $25 menu includes a choice of Gazpacho, Caribbean Shrimp Ceviche, or Belgian fries to start, choice of their Mumbai Mariachi Bowl, The Heritage Bowl, or Old Saigon Sandwich for mains, and to finish either oatmeal or chocolate chip cookies. For dinner, opt for either a $40 or $55 menu with highlights including Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Roasted Branzino, and Tropical Beignets.
**NEW** Clyde’s Restaurant Group: Partnering with Pangea Shellfish for Breast Cancer Awareness: This October, Cordelia, Old Ebbitt Grill, Clyde’s, and Rye Street Tavern will once again partner with Pangea Shellfish to feature Pink Moon oysters in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A portion of proceeds from every Pink Moon oyster sold will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The promotion kicks off next week and will run throughout the month of October. Stop by any participating CRG location serving oysters and enjoy Pink Moon oysters while supporting an important cause.
**NEW** Cordelia Fishbar: North Carolina “Green Tail” Shrimp & Grits this October: Running throughout the month, all Clyde’s Restaurant Group menus will feature North Carolina Day-Boat “Green Tail” Shrimp. At Cordelia Fishbar, they’ll be served with stone-ground corn grits, applewood bacon, Worcestershire butter sauce, and scallions ($26).

The Popal Group’s Beverage Director, Suzy Critchlow, and Pascual’s Lead Bartender, Tracy Eustaquio, will offer two sotol-based cocktails (a distillate made from a type of shrub, Dasylirion wheeleri). The “Ponche Verde” is a milk-washed cocktail with sotol, jasmine tea, hoja santa, & lime. The “Si Whey” features sotol, maguey verde, palo santo, blood orange, and lemon. Panorama Mezcal is an organization that champions Mexican-derived spirits through curated events, from public pop-ups to concentrated educational seminars.
- Northside Social: Little City Sips Returns to Falls Church (SAT, 10/17 5PM-10 PM): Join Northside Falls Church for another Little City Sips event on October 17 from 5–10 PM. Executive Chef Emer O’Rourke will serve drinks and dishes from the new fall menu, including roasted garlic and goat cheese dip, Sicilian chickpea fritters, Pat LaFrieda smash burgers, and grilled Pat LaFrieda hanger steak.
