Hello friends!! Join us every Wednesday for the events not to miss in the coming weeks.  While our google calendar is great, sometimes events can get lost in the sauce.  So here are some events we are excited for in the coming week!!

SECRET WALLS
Who: Secret Walls
What: The “Fight Club” of the art scene, inspired by Marvel comics and graffiti. A fixture in the global art community for over 11 years, Secret Walls (Formerly Secret Wars) is the World’s premier live art event. Aspiring artists of all styles and backgrounds contend at Secret Walls. They’re armed solely with black markers or acrylic paint, with the challenge of filling a large canvas. On May 10th, two teams of artists will battle it out in black and white to conceptualize and create a mural in a limited time. The winner is chosen by YOU!

DC FASHION MIXER
Who: DC Fashion Mixer

The Washington Ballet Gala

Chelsey Green & The Green Project
Who: Chelsey Green & The Green Project
What: Billboard-charting recording artists Chelsey Green and The Green Project fuse traditional classical technique with various genres including R&B, pop, soul, funk, jazz, alternative, hip hop, and gospel. Green is a renowned violinist and is familiar to local audiences as a performer, creative entrepreneur, and arts educator.The Mars Urban Arts Initiative is generously supported by Jacqueline Badger Mars and Mars, Incorporated. Washington Performing Arts performances at Sixth & I are made possible by the Abramson Family Foundation. This performance is available only for Washington Performing Arts subscription holders until September 6, 2017.

Toned Up Tuesdays!
Who: CorePower Yoga
What: Let’s welcome spring with our 5th Annual Toned Up Tuesdays! Starting Tuesday, April 17, CorePower Yoga returns to The Park at CityCenter to lead a variety of free outdoor yoga classes. The hour long class begins at 6pm and is free and open to all, just remember your mat! Toned Up Tuesdays will continue to run every Tuesday at 6pm from April 17 to May 29. *weather permitting*

Who: Women Uncorked
What: Do you like to talk about sex, but are worried about your friends sayings its TMI? Are you interested in discussing the good parts, bad parts, and everything in between? Do you just think sex is a fun and fascinating subject? Then pour yourself a drink, pull up a chair, and join the circle. Our group welcomes all persons of all ages, orientations, experiences, and relationship styles who identify as female. This discussion group is inspired by a similar one that meets monthly at the Rhizome in Takoma. I’m bringing box wine and a snack for the group. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage or snack to share. And if you’re just getting off from work, bring your dinner too.
