The Yards Earth Day Yoga
What:

People Uncorked: Risk Mitigation
What:

Washington National Opera Cafritz Young Artists Recital
What:
Each season, the Young Artists sing a fully staged performance with orchestra in the Kennedy Center Opera House as part of the WNO season. The annual recital series has featured the Young Artists at the National Gallery, the Phillips Collection, Dumbarton Oaks, and the Kreeger Museum. Two seasons ago, they performed a special production of extracts from Gian-Carlo Menotti’s The Consul at the Supreme Court.

What:
Join the co-authors of the new book Covert City: The Cold War and the Making of Miami, Vince Houghton and Eric Driggs for a conversation exploring Miami as a hub for not just money and cocaine, but also secrets and ideologies. 21st Annual Georgetown French Market
What:
The Georgetown BID is hosting their 21st annual Georgetown French Market April 26 – 28, 2024. This popular open-air market – originally inspired by those often seen in France – will feature sidewalk sales and specials from more than 40 locally-owned boutiques, cafés, and galleries along Wisconsin Avenue from O St to Reservoir Rd., plus live music, stilt-walkers, face painting, a mime, and more. Neighborhood restaurants will also offer food and drink specials featuring French cuisine and beyond – from pastries, croissants, and macarons, to lunch items grilled outside, and wine discounts.

Rasa: Launches New Category – WRAPS Best friends since birth, RASA co-founders (RA)hul Vinod and (SA)hil Rahman were born into the industry. Their fathers, besties + business partners, showed them the ropes, and from a young age, witnessed the transformative power of food to open minds, and bring people together. Growing up, Indian cuisine wasn’t quite as cool as it is today and they couldn’t understand why people didn’t eat more Indian food. Over time, they realized the problem wasn’t the cuisine, but the way people were introduced to it, and they started dreaming up ways to make Indian food more accessible. Now they are making in even more accessible with their expanded menu including wraps!
